First Aid Courses

We aim to build confidence in giving First Aid in all our courses, and offer training to new First Aiders and experienced alike.  We deliver courses throughout the Yorkshire area.

Want training in your business or community? Let us know.

Our courses are a blend of theory with hands on practical sessions.  This is a highly effective approach that works for first aiders in local authorities, public services, construction, catering, and for the general public.

Automated External Defrillation

Half day  - £250 per group up to 8

Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is the only effective therapy for cardiac arrest. The current survival rate of a cardiac arrest in the UK is 8.6%, way lower than Norway (25%) and Holland (21%). The scientific evidence states early defibrillation is  the single most important step to from collapse to delivery of the first shock.

We offer training based on the necessary theory, backed up with practical sessions. The course is run over half a day, and is informative and fun, thus allowing delegates to gain confidence in this essential skill.

Training conforms to current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.

  • Basic life support

  • AED Intro and theory

  • AED Demonstration

  • Practical AED Workshop

  • AED & BLS Workshops
